Thanks for taking a peek here. I want to tell you about the single best full featured programmable and extensible text editor around today. It's called The Semware Editor. I have been using it for about 9 years and never let it far from my reach. The editor has changed tremendously from it's beginnings as QEdit and has developed into a full GUI text editor that remains totally programmable by the user.

TSE uses a language called SAL that is very basic and easy to use. SAL has functions and variables available to it that allows me to change almost every aspect of how it works and also to add on functionality as I need it. In addition, Semware has an entire archive filled with macros submitted by other users. If you don't want to write the code you can probably find it there. If it's not there, go to the email discussion group and ask them. This product has the best group of users I have ever seen! The discussion group has almost no noise whatsoever and the users all seem to get along well - which is really amazing nowadays.

If you need to edit text you really should check out The Semware Editor.
